So Madonna's back in the Top 200 albums chart this week...with CELEBRATION! The greatest hits album re-enters the chart at #132. Did the press of her flashing her boob help sell a few more copies? :)  Apparently, the album was also on sale at amazon.com last week.

Elsewhere, MDNA holds at #9 on the Dance / Electronic Albums chart for a third week and falls to #196 on Top Current Albums. The album sold 2,309 copies during the week.

Ask Billboard: Is Madonna Ready To 'Turn Up The Radio'?

Madonna is featured in this week's edition of Ask Billboard:

Hi Gary,

To bring up a recent hot "Ask Billboard" topic once again ... what happened to Madonna's album "MDNA"? It's not even on the Billboard 200 anymore. And: no Billboard Hot 100 singles after "Give Me All Your Luvin'."

Does her new label deal not include marketing for radio and/or club promotion? I mean, "Turn Up the Radio" is an out-of-the-box smash. And, as for "I F****ed Up," just change the title to a cleaner version (like P!nk and Cee Lo Green did with "Perfect" and "Forget You," respectively) and it could be a hit. "Masterpiece" should also go straight to radio.

Flashback: A Little Backstory On "Live To Tell"

-Taken from 'The Billboard Book of Number 1 Hits' by Fred Bronson.

Patrick Leonard had just finished the Jackson's Victory tour when his manager asked if he was interested in being musical director for Madonna's Virgin tour. At first he said no, but then he talked to Madonna on the phone, found her charming and agreed to do the two month tour.

By the time the tour was over, Madonna had asked Leonard and Stephen Bray to write songs with her and co-produce her next album, True Blue...

"Turn Up The Radio" Video Filming This Weekend

Madonna is reportedly filming the video to "Turn Up The Radio" this weekend in Florence, Italy, after the shoot was postponed last weekend. According to madonnatribe, the video is scheduled to premiere in mid-July, with the digital single expected to be released then as well. Interscope should be sending out the digital promos to radio and clubs soon, and hopefully it won't be long before we see "Turn Up The Radio" on some charts!

By the way, the photo above is supposedly a Hong Kong CD-R promo. No word yet if this will be the official single cover (maybe not, since this is a picture from 2010) but I just thought it was an interesting tidbit to share.
