Billboard Year-End Charts 2013

http://madonnabbarchives.blogspot.com/2013/12/year-end-charts-2013.html
Despite a relatively quiet year for Madonna on the Billboard charts, she made a few appearances on their year-end tallies for 2013:

Top Dance/Electronic Artists: #47
Top Music Video Sales: "MDNA World Tour" #29
Top 25 Tours: #14 (Total Gross: $76,752,277, Total Attendance: 577,169, No. of Shows: 16, No. of Sellouts: 16)

Contributor Maurice G. explains:
For the Dance/Electronic Artists category, I'm certain it's because of MDNA still being on the charts in early 2013. As for the Top 25 Tours, since the chart compiles touring stats from Nov 2012 to Nov 2013, Madonna was still touring at that time and the above stats are for the last 16 concerts. I'm still surprised that MDNA DVD/Blu-ray still made it on the year-end Music Video Sales in spite of its 4-week run due to the recall.

Chart News: Week Of 10/12/2013

MDNA World Tour takes a tumble this week on the Top Music Videos chart as it suffers from the effects of the Blu-Ray recall in the USA (Not sure if the DVD was recalled as well). All copies were deemed defective and pulled from stores last week. Definitely a huge blunder. Amazon.com has new listings for both the DVD and Blu-Ray so the new corrected discs should be coming soon.
