Chart News: Week Of 12/8/2012

As Madonna's MDNA Tour plays it's final dates in South America, it's looking more and more likely that all promo for MDNA is now completely over. No more singles, no club play promos...not even any news of that supposed Brazilian release for "Superstar". It's a little sad, but eventually all things come to an end (although I really think they could have milked one more Club Play #1 out of this album!). Now we can look forward to the tour DVD and Madonna's next album, which she supposedly has already started working on (Maybe she's just started thinking about it. Who knows!)

MDNA falls down to #16 this week on the Dance / Electronic Albums chart in its 35th week.

    Perhaps I am jmust holding out hope, but is it possible that they are waiting to release Sperstar as the forth single until after the tour is over, since it's not in the tour set list?

    Someone posted on Icon that Guy Oseary has told fans at the concerts that there will be no more singles, and that the Superstar remixes were only for Brazil, unfortunately. I'm hoping DJ's in the USA will start spinning the remix in the clubs. Maybe she can get another club play hit.
