"Like A Virgin" On The Club Play Chart

A sort of mini mystery for the Madonna Billboard Archives was solved today when I found the missing 13th week in "Like A Virgin" 's chart run on the Club Play chart for the week of February 16, 1985: #73. So, finally, here is the complete week-by-week run:

So, as you all know, the Billboard Music Awards performance rumor turned out to be just that: A rumor. I don't think a lot of people really expected it to be true but it would have been amazing. Too good to be true! Speaking of performances though, the MDNA tour kicks off in just ten days. Are you excited?! :)

Rumor: "Gang Bang" To Be A Single This Summer?

DrownedMadonna is reporting that "Gang Bang" is expected to be a single this summer. Details are vague; Will this be a USA release, a European release, a Club Only release? This conflicts with what Guy Oseary was saying would be the third single, but perhaps they just simply changed their minds. Or perhaps this would be the fourth single? It would definitely be a very interesting and bold release which would be sure to turn heads with an appropriate video!
