More Details On "Turn Up The Radio"

Some more new details on the new single release have surfaced today as Madonnatribe is reporting that Interscope has commissioned 2 new remixes of "Turn Up The Radio" by Laidback Luke and R3HAB.  These new remixes and the three previously released 'Smirnoff' remixes will all be promoted to clubs. The best bit of news, however, is that the video and the new remixes will all be released simultaneously. As you may recall, Interscope have had this really annoying habit of releasing the remix bundles waaaay too late for the previous singles, which has done nothing to help with chart positions (not only in North America, but also overseas. Have you seen Madonna's UK singles stats lately?? Yikes). Hopefully this strategy will pay off somehow. It certainly couldn't hurt.

  1. 'Falling Free' should have been the new single. It's a starkly stripped down confession of lost love. In the vein of 'Frozen' and 'Take A Bow', its unique artistic strength would have garnered significant airplay and even given Adele a run for her money. It has #1 adult contemporary written all over it. The negligence of Interscope in handeling Madonna is stunning. 'Gimme All Your Love' was the weakest song on the album and 'Girls Gone Wild' was only a tad above album filler . There is great depth and power on this album and a vast majority of her audience may never hear it.
