Don't Tell Me (2000)

FORMATS:
7" Vinyl, Double 12" Vinyl, Cassette Single, CD Single, CD Maxi-Single

HISTORY AND NOTES:
The Music album spawned off another big hit with its second single, "Don't Tell Me".

Once again, the usual physical editions were released on standard and maxi formats, though this would be Madonna's final cassette single release. The CD Maxi was enhanced and featured the music video for "Don't Tell Me", a first for a commercial Madonna single in the USA (A promo CD for "Music" had also included the music video for that track).

"Don't Tell Me" did really well on the charts, peaking at #4 on the Hot 100 and peaking in the Top 10 of most of the other big charts. It hit #1 on Singles and Maxi-Singles sales and Club Play, her 25th #1 on that chart. "Don't Tell Me" was included on both 2001's GHV2 and 2009's Celebration hits albums.
