Nobody Knows Me (2003)

FORMATS: Club-Play Promo / NOTHING FAILS B-Side

HISTORY AND NOTES:
"Nobody Knows Me" was released as a 12" Vinyl club-only promo only in 2003. The song was from the album American Life album. Though the song wasn't released as its own single, the remixes were prominently featured on the CD and 12" Vinyl maxi-singles of Madonna's next release, "Nothing Fails".

Surprisingly, "Nobody Knows Me" didn't reach #1 on the Club Play chart. 2 weeks after its debut on the Club Play chart, Britney Spears' single "Me Against The Music" (featuring Madonna) debuted on the chart as well. A month after that, Madonna's next official single "Nothing Fails" also debuted on the chart. With 3 Madonna tracks charting at once, "Nobody Knows Me" got lost in the shuffle a bit and had to settle for a #4 peak.
