HISTORY AND NOTES: This song, which was written by Madonna and sung by her and Catherine Buchanan, was produced by Jellybean Benitez and released to clubs in 1984, where it hit #1 as a promotional release. It was eventually released commercially and to radio a year later and hit #18 on the Hot 100. Even though Madonna wrote and performed in the song, Billboard does not recognize this as one of her chart entries because she was not credited as a performer, only as a writer. Jellybean got sole performing credit for this song when it charted.
