HISTORY AND NOTES:
Although Warner Bros. did not officially promote this track from 2003's 'American Life' album, a remix by Peter Rauhofer (The 'Peter Rauhofer Re-Invention Mix') appeared on his 2005 compilation 'Live@Roxy 4' through his own Star 69 Records label. The remix received enough club play to allow it to appear on the Club Play chart, where it peaked at #9. "Mother And Father" became Madonna’s seventh Top 10 hit from an album on the Club Play chart. She was the first artist to achieve this feat. This song was originally rumored to be a UK single in early 2004 but that never happened.
